The listed nominal heat output is 10.9 kW. Use the nominal rating when comparing models for everyday heating; maximum output, where stated, is a different measure and should not replace a heat-loss calculation.

The space a stove can heat depends on insulation, ceiling height, windows and how rooms connect. A higher kW rating is not automatically a better choice. Matching the output to your home helps you choose a stove that suits the way you live.

For good results, use the wood specified in the operating instructions, keep it properly seasoned and follow the recommended fuel load and air settings. Wet wood and unsuitable operation can reduce performance and make the glass and flue dirtier.

Design that fits the way you use the room
