The rated output to the room is 5.08 kW. This is the figure to compare with the room’s calculated heat demand: a well-matched stove should provide comfortable warmth without needing to be continually throttled back.

The listed water-side output is 7.06 kW. Consider this separately from the heat released into the room, and have the heating circuit, controls and required safety equipment sized for the appliance.

The space a stove can heat depends on insulation, ceiling height, windows and how rooms connect. A higher kW rating is not automatically a better choice. Matching the output to your home helps you choose a stove that suits the way you live.

For good results, use the wood specified in the operating instructions, keep it properly seasoned and follow the recommended fuel load and air settings. Wet wood and unsuitable operation can reduce performance and make the glass and flue dirtier.
