A narrow cast iron wood-burning stove with a deep firebox. Trenk offers 8.9 kW of nominal output, a top flue connection and space for logs up to 40 cm long.

Design and everyday use

Trenk's proportions are unusual: just 350 mm wide, but 650 mm deep. This creates a narrow front with a deep firebox for logs up to 40 cm long. It is worth comparing the depth, not only the width, when planning a hearth. The 175 × 245 mm loading opening is also a useful practical measurement before preparing firewood.
